ANIMAL INSTINCT
I finally had the chance to go to some animal parks a few weeks ago.This is something that I have been meaning to do for a while, but it somehow always conflicted with the other plans which decided to avail themselves. Long story short, a trip to Sun City ended up being a detour to Pilanesberg National Park due to some unforeseen circumstances. I can’t begin to describe the splendour, nature against the backdrop of the setting sun,really is the most spectacular of sights. A couple of weeks later I visited a Lion Park, I thought I’d be daring and get better acquainted with the animals. What an experience!

HEMINGWAYDESIGN X HUSH PUPPIES
Hiya!
We attended the launch of the collaborative shoe range between HemingwayDesigns and Hush Puppies. The result is a collection which puts a modern spin on the original shoe. The designs see the shoe become transported into the modern age through the injection of colour (eye-popping oranges, blues, greens & yellows), hues sure to be appreciated by the modern man (and gal). The range is said to be heavily influenced by British punk culture.
We were pleased to hear, through a brief chat with the Managing Director of the brand that a women’s range was in progress, with the aim of a 2013 release date. We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for those. I think the male alternative will have to make do for now. One’s got to keep these insatiable urges at bay, right?

First they brought us ZARA, now the Spanish masterminds have decided to bring us an alternative version of the much sought-after brand. Presenting Uterqüe, Zara’s online-only sister store. A chip-off-the-old-block, the store boasts the same quality of exquisite designs and styling which have contributed to ZARA’s notoriety. They just need to hurry up and make it available in SA, we can’t have one without the other right?
