BOBBI BROWN PAMPER SESSION
Altogether now…
We were lucky enough to take part in a Bobbi Brown pamper session a few weeks ago. The session was open for us and 4 friends and was held at the Bobbi Brown counter at Sandton City. We were quite excited as we were unfamiliar with the brand (we’d often heard of it, but hadn’t taken the opportunity to test any of their products out).
We arrived to a chocolate and champagne affair, perfect way to wind down what could have been described as a torturously long day. The ladies sat us down and talked us through the regimen of preparing the skin for make-up application. This may seem as a no-brainer, but after a few years one tends to adopt really bad habits.
Long story short, we were really impressed by the outcome. In all honesty we had been consumed by the M.A.C mentality, it had become our go to brand by default. We have to admit, it was nice to be able to experiment with an alternative product.
We liked that the foundation appeared very natural. It had been a while since we used liquid foundation (usually opting for powder), but the effects are pretty impressive. Also taking into account that it is winter and skin becomes much dryer this seemed like the better choice for the season. Add a little corrector and concealer and the effects of the day had been reversed.
I think we’ve become converts…
